Xerox Terriers in first place

The Yorkton Xerox Terriers of the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League are currently sitting in first place in their division, which is the СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Division of the league. Out of eleven teams, Yorkton sits in first with a record of 12-2-2.

The Yorkton Xerox Terriers of the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League are currently sitting in first place in their division, which is the СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Division of the league. Out of eleven teams, Yorkton sits in first with a record of 12-2-2. When combining both the North and СÀ¶ÊÓƵ division, Yorkton sits in third place out of 21 teams.

This past weekend, the Xerox Terriers played two games, one on home ice at the Yorkton Kinsmen Arena against the Regina Pat Blues. Regina came out on top after three periods, with a final score of 6-3.

Yorkton got the first goal in the first period, coming from Anthony Roebuck with the assists from Rhys Maksimow and Tanner Hoffman. Regina answered with three goals in the first.

The second period saw no goals from Yorkton, and two more for Regina.

In the third, Yorkton added two more on to the board. Ryder Korczak scored on a powerplay, with the assists coming from Austin Dycer and Jackson Berezowski. Less than a minute later, Jackson Berezowski scored a short handed  goal for Yorkton with an assist from Ryder Korczak.

Regina was able to score their final goal in the last two minutes of play.

The Xerox Terriers hit the road for their remaining games before Christmas break. They will return to home ice at the Yorkton Kinsmen Arena on Friday, Jan. 6 when they take on the Saskatoon Stallions at 7:45 p.m.
