The Yorkton Xerox Terriers picked up a win in their lone game of the weekend on Friday, trouncing the Prairie Storm 7-3 at the Communiskate Arena in Emerald Park.
Zach McIntyre had three goals and three assists in the game for the Xerox Terriers, while singles were added by Vaughn Wilgosh, Josh Herman, Colby Vranai and Massen Ziola.
Spencer Welke picked up his 10th win of the season while Jordan Muhr took the loss.
Mkyllan Couture (two) and Lucas Schmidt replied for the Prairie Storm.
The win gives the Xerox Terriers 44 points on the season, 12 up on the СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Division second place Estevan TS&M Bruins (32).
The Regina Aces (25) and Regina Monarchs (24) round out the СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Division top four, while the Humboldt Broncos continue to lead the North Division with 39 points.
The Saskatoon Generals sit in second in the North with 33 points, one ahead of third place Sask Valley (32) and two ahead of the fourth place Saskatoon Outlaws (31).
The next action for the Xerox Terriers will be this weekend when they host the Prince Albert Raiders Sunday afternoon at the Farrell Agencies Arena. Game time is set for 1:30pm.
