The Yorkton RawTec Maulers Midget AAA hockey team traveled to Moose Jaw over the weekend to face the Generals. Yorkton came out with a win, with a final score of 5-3.
The Generals started the scoring off in the first period, but the RawTec Maulers were able to get it back just seconds later when Ty Kotylak connected with the back of the net.
The second period saw two goals from the Generals and three from the Maulers. Yorkton’s goals came from Trey Bear (2) and Derrick Budz.
In the third period, Yorkton’s fifth goal came from Austin Shumanski.
At the time of print, the RawTec Maulers hold a 6-7-0-1 record, placing them eighth in their league of twelve.
The RawTec Maulers have been away from the Farrell Agencies Arena for more than a month. But, they return this coming weekend for two more games against the Moose Jaw Generals. The games take place on Saturday, Nov. 19 and Sunday, Nov. 20. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m.
