BRANDON, Man. — Police say a school bus driver on a Manitoba First Nation has been charged with impaired driving.
The Manitoba First Nation Police Service says officers responded Monday to a report of a possible drunk driver at Waywayseecappo First Nation, northwest of Brandon.
Police say the bus reportedly had children on board.
The man was taken to a detachment and given an alcohol breathalyzer test.
Police say the driver tested at double the legal driving limit.
The man was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
