Update: Police find suspect after man shot in Prud'homme

RCMP find abandoned vehicle near Wakaw believed to be used by wanted man.

PRUD'HOMME – Update: Police have arrested Myles Has at an address on Clarence avenue in Saskatoon.

He was scheduled to have a show cause hearing today in Saskatoon Provincial Court, however that date has been pushed to Sept. 18.

Original Report: Police are looking for a Saskatoon man in relation to a shooting in Prud'homme last week,

Saskatoon RCMP responded to the call on Sept. 6 at around 10:30 p.m. after shots had been fired at a home in Prud'homme.

"Initial investigation determined an altercation occurred between two adult men," said RCMP in a media release. "A firearm was discharged and one of the men was injured."

The victim was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries while the other man fled in a vehicle.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Myles Has, 34, of Saskatoon, but police have yet to find him. RCMP have recovered the vehicle Has was driving on Sept. 7, found abandoned near Wakaw.

Has faces charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm and possession of a firearm without a license.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Has is asked to contact their local police service of call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. He is described as СÀ¶ÊÓƵ 5'10" tall, weighing 250 lbs. with brown hair and eyes.

"Saskatoon RCMP continue to investigate this incident," RCMP said. "If an increased risk to public safety is identified, we will notify the public."
