NORTHERN SASKATCHEWAN — Just when we thought it was over. A snowfall warning was issued Tuesday for an area of northern Saskatchewan and has been expanded Wednesday
Environment Canada says 15 to 25 cm of snow over the next two days is expected, with the majority, 10 cm, to fall on Wednesday. The snow will ease Wednesday night, but lighter snow will likely continue through Thursday before beginning to taper off in earnest on Friday.
The areas under warning are the Hudson Bay - Porcupine Plain area, La Ronge - Prince Albert National Park - Narrow Hills Provincial Park area, Melfort - Tisdale - Nipawin - Carrot River area, Pelican Narrows - Cumberland House - Creighton area and the 小蓝视频end - Brabant Lake - Kinoosao area.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.
