Saskatoon man arrested after making threats with gun

Police lock down residence, arrest suspect.

SASKATOON – A 57-year-old man was arrested after a weekend firearms complaint.

Around 3:40 p.m. on Sept. 2, patrol officers responded to a report of a man with a gun, making threats on the 1100 block of Tiffin Crescent

"Police officers contained the residence, and at approximately 5:15 p.m, the man exited the residence and was taken into custody," said SPS in a media release. "A search of the residence located a firearm and ammunition."

The man was charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
