Coca-Cola Santa tour is soda-lightful

A fizz-tastic experience as children get to experience Coca-Cola Santa Tour 2023 in their Saskatoon neighbourhood

SASKATOON--The 2023 edition of the Coca-Cola Santa tour brought elements of effervescence and chill moments as the harmonious combination of a fully lit Coca Cola semi truck and trailer, driven by Santa himself, was a fizz-tastic experience.

Various internet sources laud Coca Cola for helping with Santa’s image, converting his outfit from elf green to the red, jolly outfit we know him now today.

The Coca-Cola Santa Tour 2023 has their own Facebook page where they outlined all the neighbourhoods, they would be touring in 2023, including Saskatoon, Regina and Yorkton.

The evening of Dec. 3, this reporter’s neighbourhood of Silverwood Heights in Saskatoon benefitted from a tour from the Coca Cola Santa Tour.

The full-length semi truck is complete with festive lights and the familiar marketed smiling Santa and coke bottle on either side of the unit, driven by jolly old Saint Nick himself, accompanied by some of his hard-working elves.

A tracker was posted on the Facebook page so residents knew where he was travelling to and in time honoured tradition, he always made stops for the kids, meeting and greeting as well as posing for many pictures.

It was a wonderful holiday surprise and treat and, according to their social media page, this joyful, cheer-spreading festive activity is all undertaken by volunteers.

Watch for the Coca-Cola Santa Tour 2023 in a neighborhood near you.
