SASKATOON – Saskatoon police have charged a 15-year-old after a delivery driver was threatened with an imitation firearm.
Police say that around 11 p.m. on March 16, they were called to the area of 22nd Street West and Avenue I North after a delivery driver was threatened with a firearm when he confronted a man breaking into his car. There was a brief exchange between two before the suspect fled the area on foot. The victim wasn’t physically injured.
Responding officers located and arrested the suspect a short distance away. They found an imitation firearm discarded in the snow nearby.
The youth has been charged with pointing a firearm, unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, and assault with a weapon.
