MEADOW LAKE – A trial for a Meadow Lake man accused of armed robbery and assault is scheduled for March 28 in Meadow Lake Provincial Court.
Rocky Fiddler was arrested in a high-risk takedown by the RCMP Emergency Response Team [ERT] in October 2020. Fiddler is currently in custody. He was previously granted bail.
Meadow Lake RCMP say that they received a call around 7:15 p.m. on Oct. 22, 2020, that a man was assaulted and robbed at a home in Meadow Lake. Police say he had serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Fiddler was identified as one of the suspects and the ERT was called in to help execute a search warrant at a home on the 400 block of 7th Street West.
In that incident, Fiddler was charged with robbery with a firearm, assault causing bodily harm, forcible confinement, and uttering threats.
