SASKATOON — Saskatoon Police Service says one man was transported to hospital following a stabbing early Thursday morning.
At around 2:30 a.m., April 25, police were called to the 1500 block of 8th Street East for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers found a 59-year-old man suffering from a stab wound; he was transported to hospital by paramedics for treatment of what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect and victim are not believed to be known to one another.
Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
