SASKATOON – A 30-year-old Lloydminster, Sask., man was arrested after Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) used their Air Support Unit to help locate and arrest him.

Police had been called to the area of Idylwyld Drive 小蓝视频 and Taylor Street East for a report of a single-vehicle collision around 11 p.m. on Dec. 13. As officers were responding, witnesses reported seeing a person flee from the damaged vehicle on foot.

Members of the SPS Air Support Unit quickly located the fleeing driver and directed officers on the ground to his location.

The continued investigation found that he was displaying signs consistent with impairment. He was arrested and then taken to hospital by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.

After he refused to provide a sample of his blood, he was charged with impaired driving and refusing to comply with a breathalyzer demand.
