SASKATOON – Saskatoon Police Service Drug Unit (SPSDU) has arrested two men and seized three vehicles, drugs, and weapons following an investigation into drug trafficking.
On Dec. 11, police said they wrapped up their investigation on Nov. 21.
Police seized 694.76 grams of cocaine, 6.71 grams of methamphetamine, about $89,000 CAD, a loaded 12-gauge shotgun, additional ammunition, brass knuckles, a conducted energy weapon, a machete, a 2017 Ford Escape, a 2010 Toyota Tundra, a 2010 GMC Terrain, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
As part of the investigation, a search warrant was executed on two vehicles and a home in the 500 block of McKercher Drive on Aug. 15.
Two men, ages 35 and 38, are charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine, possession of the proceeds of trafficking and crime over $5,000, and several firearms related offences.
