The Saskatoon Police Service Air Support Unit tracked the vehicle to the area of Circle Drive and Preston Avenue 小蓝视频.

SASKATOON — The Saskatoon Police Service Air Support Unit (ASU) helped patrol officers catch a suspect in a fleeing vehicle.

At about 4 a.m. on April 8, officers attempted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle near 17th Street West and Avenue J 小蓝视频. The vehicle initially came to a stop but fled moments later.

Officers on the ground disengaged from the evade police incident, while those in the air continued to monitor the vehicle’s movements. The ASU tracked the vehicle to the area of Circle Drive and Preston Avenue 小蓝视频, where ground officers intercepted it with a tire deflation device. The vehicle continued into an alley in the 2600 Block of Eastview where the suspect abandoned the vehicle and hid behind a house. Members of the ASU directed ground officers to the suspect’s location, and he was arrested without further incident.

A 36-year-old man has been charged with 小蓝视频 police and dangerous driving.
