SASKATOON - A 69-year-old Saskatoon man is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
Saskatoon Police Service say that members of the Interpersonal Violence Section investigated the allegations regarding 69-year-old Saskatoon man. On March 12, a woman went to SPS Headquarters to report that her 13-year-old daughter had been sexually assaulted on March 11 in the 200 block of Avenue M СÀ¶ÊÓƵ.
Following the investigation, police charged a 69-year-old man with sexual assault. He was arrested on April 19 at SPS Headquarters and later released on a recognizance order.
He is set to make his first court appearance on May 24.
