SASKATOON – A Saskatoon man is accused of stabbing a man in bar after 小蓝视频 told to leave.
Brian Daniel Cook, 29, is charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, assault, carrying a dangerous weapon, and breach of conditions.
Cook was arrested early Saturday morning. Police say that they responded to a bar on Idylwyld Drive North and 24 Street East at approximately 11:50 p.m. on March 17. They had received a report that a man threatened a staff member with a knife after 小蓝视频 told he had to leave the bar.
Police say that Cook left but returned a short time later with three other people and there was an altercation. Cook is accused of hitting a woman before assaulting a man with a knife and fleeing on foot. The 34-year-old victim was taken to hospital by paramedics with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Patrol members located Cook a short time later in the area of the 1100 block of Avenue D North. He was arrested after attempting to flee on foot. Officers located and seized a knife from him.
Cook made his first appearance Monday in Saskatoon Provincial Court and the matter was adjourned to Tuesday for a show cause hearing.
