A 38-year-old Regina man is facing weapons related offences after police found a loaded handgun inside his vehicle during a traffic stop.
Aaron Allan Parisian is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, careless storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition, unauthorized possession of a prohibited device or ammunition in a vehicle, two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, and resisting arrest.
Shortly after midnight on April 15, Regina police officers stopped a vehicle travelling in the 600 block of Retallack Street. When officers approached the vehicle, they observed five people inside. An investigation led to the discovery of a loaded handgun inside the vehicle.
Parisian made his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on April 15.
