PRINCE ALBERT – Prince Albert Police Service’s Crime Reduction Team have arrested a 22-year-old man on an outstanding warrant in an investigation that also led to the seizure last week of a loaded, sawed-off shotgun.
On April 5, CRT members located Richard Budd who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for breach of court-ordered release conditions in the area around 9th Avenue and 15th Street West. He was arrested following a short foot pursuit. Police found a loaded firearm nearby.
Budd, from Prince Albert, is facing numerous firearms-related charges and resisting a peace officer in relation to this investigation.
