REGINA — A pair of robberies over the Remembrance Day weekend have police looking for suspects.
The first incident occurred just after 6 p.m. on Nov. 11 when RPS were called to a robbery at a business on the 100 block of Albert St.
“Early information suggested that a male suspect entered the business armed with a knife,” said RPS in a media release. “The suspect threatened staff with the knife and stole cigarettes before fleeing the business on foot.”
Nobody was injured during the robbery and the masked suspect is described as a male wearing a black hoodie pulled over his head wearing black pants with camouflage pants underneath.
A business on the 2200 block of Victoria Avenue E. was also targeted by thieves when two males entered the premises near closing time.
“One of the suspects pushed an employee out of the way and both proceeded to break open a glass display case stealing electronics,” RPS said.
Nobody was injured during the robbery, and the thieves left in a grey Toyota Venza. The first suspect is described as a 20 year-old male, over six feet tall wearing a NY baseball cap, black hoodie, a black puffy North Face coat, black pants and white running shoes. He also has a face tattoo on his right cheek and a large tattoo on the back of his left hand.
The second suspect was a male between 20 and 30 years of age, also over six feet tall with a black hoodie, green t-shirt, black pants, black running shoes and a plaid scarf around his neck and face.
Anyone who may be able to provide information to assist RPS in these investigations can call 306 777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
