Update: Missing Rosthern girls, 10 and 14, located

ROSTHERN – Update Aug. 10: Police say that Gemma Linklater,10, and Korah Mountain, 14, have been found safe. 

Original story: Police are asking the public’s help locating two missing girls, Gemma Linklater,10, and Korah Mountain, 14, who were last seen in Rosthern at a local hardware store at approximately 5 p.m. on Aug. 8. 

Rosthern RCMP say they got a report at about 6 p.m. on Aug. 8 that they girls were missing.

Rosthern RCMP have been working to locate Gemma and Korah since receiving the report, including making patrols of all last known locations and following-up on information received. Investigators are now asking the public to report all information on Gemma and Korah’s whereabouts.

Gemma is approximately 5-foot-5 and 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black shorts, with a white stripe down the side, and a grey hoodie, with a green cougar logo. 

Korah is approximately 5-foot-6 and 120 pounds. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black top, black shorts, and black boots. Korah has medical tape over her nose.

Gemma and Korah may be in Prince Albert or Saskatoon but this has not been confirmed yet.
