SASKATOON – A 24-year-old man was arrested after four people – including two police officers – were assaulted Thursday evening.
Saskatoon police say they were dealing with an unrelated matter on Avenue Y СÀ¶ÊÓƵ when they heard a commotion nearby in the 2400 block of 22nd Street West. They found two employees of an establishment had been bear sprayed by a man they had refused a sale to. Police say the suspect remained in the area but fled when he saw the police.

The man has been charged with carrying a weapon dangerous to public peace, two counts each of assaulting a police officer with a weapon and assault with a weapon.
