SASKATOON – A 23-year-old man was arrested for allegedly threatening people at a business in Saskatoon with a gun.
Around 3:54 p.m., Feb. 12, Saskatoon police were dispatched to the business in the 900 block of 22nd Street West. The man fled the scene before police arrived but was located and arrested shortly after, near the 200 block of Avenue K North with help from a police service dog and handler.
Police located a sawed-off rifle and sawed-off shotgun on him. He was charged with multiple weapons offences, a breach of release order and had outstanding warrants.
