Drugs, money, and paraphernalia obtained by police through search warrants.

REGINA – Members of the RPS Drug Unit, Canine Unit and patrol officers were busy seizing drugs in east Regina this week.

Police completed an investigation on Feb. 22 into illegal drug trafficking in the city, seizing 800 grams of methamphetamine, 350 grams of cocaine, approximately $17,000, ammunition, and drug-related items.

“Three CDSA search warrants were executed; two on residences and one on a vehicle,” said RPS in a media release. “The residences searched were located in the Glencairn neighbourhood and in the Greens on Gardiner neighbourhood.”

Police made an arrest, charging Chirag Mehta, 22, with possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and two counts possession of a substance for trafficking.
