SASKATOON – Update: Saskatoon police say traffic restrictions have been lifted at Saskatoon City Hall. The investigation by SPS Patrol and the Explosive Disposal Unit determined the package was not a threat to public safety.
Original story- Saskatoon city hall has been evacuated and the explosive disposal unit has been called in.
Saskatoon police say they responded to the call of a suspicious package in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue North.
The SPS requests the general public and motorists avoid the area. An update will be provided when it is available.
