REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
鈼 Post-secondary degree from an accredited physical therapy program or equivalent education as recognized by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
鈼 Current registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
鈼 Minimum of a graduated student to one (1) years鈥 experience as a Physiotherapist
鈼 Strong knowledge and practice of the functions, operations and best practices within Physiotherapy
鈼 Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality physiotherapy services
鈼 Demonstrated care and safety of patients prior to, during, and following treatment
鈼 Demonstrated understanding and record of providing an excellent patient experience
鈼 Demonstrated professional judgement and interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, and their families
鈼 Innovative critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze and make decisions
鈼 Strong self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management skills
鈼 A solid track record of maintaining privacy and confidentiality in the workplace
鈼 Highly developed conflict resolution skills
鈼 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
鈼 Perform physiotherapy assessments and developing evidence-based physiotherapy treatment plans
鈼 Provide physiotherapy treatment following rules and regulations of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
鈼 Review patient progress and clearly document responses to treatment
