Position Description:
Strong Understanding and Implementation of the following Ministry Documents:
- Learning for All
- Indigenous, Metis, Inuit Framework
- Growing Success (Assessment)
- Ontario Language Curriculum

Position Qualifications:
Current member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
- Primary/Junior/Intermediate Qualifications
- AQ - Reading Specialist - Early Years Focus
- AQ - Special Education Part 1
- 3-5 years of teaching, leadership and academic coaching experience
- Experience in literacy screening, assessment, and pedagogy, including the Science of Reading, specifically for Early Years and Primary grades
- Experience working with a collaborative and multi-disciplinary School Based Team to support classroom teachers by identifying and providing programming for students with diverse learning needs
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Assistive Technology & Google Apps for Education

Position Requirements:
- Cover letter and resume highlighting qualifications and experience
- Copy of Ontario College of Teachers - Certification of Qualification
- Most recent LTO evaluation or most recent appraisal, if available
- A minimum of three (3) references, including most recent reference, and email addresses must be included in order for your package to be considered complete
- Successful completion of all Safety training courses
- Must undergo a successful vulnerable sector check
- Extensive travel throughout the Board and provincially
