In partnership with Aviso Wealth, YNCU has an opening for an Associate Investment Advisor. Aviso Wealth is a wealth management program offering financial planning, insurance and investments to members of credit unions and their communities across Canada.

The Role

We are seeking an Associate Investment Advisor who is interested in working and learning within a supported structure. You will work closely with the Senior Investment Advisor, Financial Planner to help manage client portfolios and develop new business in a meaningful way.

You will assist in further growing this practice through personal contact with clients to support their needs, assist with their portfolio management and uncover new business opportunities while primarily providing an exceptional service experience for them.

You will grow within this position and have a strong ambition to expand your career within the Practice over several years while building a credible foundation with the team and our clients with the main focus 小蓝视频 to:

  • Design and provide detailed financial strategies for members including but not limited to retirement, education, asset allocation, and risk management
  • Collaborate with colleagues in providing a diverse and supportive financial partnership with individuals and families which increases their financial well-小蓝视频
  • Build a portfolio of clients by passionately pursuing and establishing relationships and business contacts while 小蓝视频 committed to supporting the Senior Investment Advisor
  • Generate reports and administer ongoing reporting and Business development and administration for the Senior Advisor’s team
  • Work closely with Branch teams, in collaboration to explore and grow client/member solutions and opportunities

What we are looking for

  • Current accreditation and good standing in Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practice Handbook (CPH) or willingness to acquire these accreditations
  • Successful completion of Wealth Management Essentials and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or willingness to complete
  • Financial Services and/or Brokerage industry experience is required, though experience in a similar sector would be considered
  • You are capable of 小蓝视频 highly productive while working independently
  • Strong computer and software literacy including all Windows applications and the ability to learn new platforms and software easily
  •  Proven success working in a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Client centered and driven by the need to make a difference for people in a meaningful way through genuine conversations, active listening and empathetic understanding
  • You can understand that future success is built from the details you focus on today
  • You have strong personal convictions around integrity, professionalism, service and exploring the most meaningful and impactful personal solutions for our clients
