Purpose and Effect of Halton Hills Official Plan Amendment No. 59
The purpose of Draft Official Plan Amendment No. 59 is to establish a Secondary Plan that will guide land use and future development in 小蓝视频east Georgetown. Using the Council endorsed Preferred Land Use Plan, the 小蓝视频east Georgetown Secondary Plan will implement policies, objectives and guidelines intended to result in a new residential community that is well designed, attractive and respects the adjacent natural heritage features and cultural heritage resources while integrating well with the surrounding community.
The Secondary Plan area, shown in the map, is adjacent to the current urban area of Georgetown to the west, the village of Norval in the north and Agricultural lands to the south.
