Mustang car show raises $900 for charity

Show featured the famous muscle car from past several decades.

YORKTON – A car show dedicated to the legendary Ford Mustang was held at Terry Ortynsky's Royal Ford Sept. 16.  

The first ever Fire Up For Terry Fox Mustang Showcase had forty entrants and featured Mustangs dating back from the 1960s to the present day.  

The event, which raised $900.00, offered several awards to the best Mustang in their respective categories which included Loudest Engine, Most Unique and Best Vintage.  

The winner for Loudest Engine was Eric Storozynsky for a 2017 Mustang GT.  Most Unique went to Dan Kirkham for a 1966 Mustang Coupe.  Best Vintage went to Vaughn Cross for a 1966 Mustang Convertible Coupe.
