Man charged in Whitewood-area cattle rustling case appears in court again

WHITEWOOD - Another court appearance has been made by a man charged with cattle rustling near Whitewood.

Last June, the Saskatchewan RCMP Livestock Investigator received a report from Livestock Services of Saskatchewan about a potential suspicious livestock transaction.

An investigation determined that fourteen calves had been stolen from a farm in the R.M. of Silverwood over the course of three separate incidents.

Ryan Bennett, 34, of the Whitewood area, appeared in Moosomin Provincial Court Jan. 21, where he had his matters adjourned to Feb. 18.
