Sandra Ann Nixon. October 19, 1960-July 18, 2014. Sandra Ann passed away peacefully on July 18, 2014, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Esterhazy, SK with family by her side. She was born on October 19, 1960, to Evelyn and Westly Nixon in Esterhazy, SK. She married Dale Hirkala in 1978, and was blessed with three beautiful children, Travis, Roxanne and Nicholas who gave her the greatest joy and five wonderful grandchildren whom she loved to spend time with. Sandra was very hard worker. Throughout her years, she ran her own shoe repair business, operated heavy equipment and was a cook for quite a few years. She loved spending time with her family whether it was just a few members or the whole lot. She loved dancing and singing. She took pride in gardening, sewing and just 小蓝视频 there to listen. Her laugh was contagious and her smile brightened any room she was in. In 2013, Sandra was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Anyone that knew Sandra, knew how strong she was and that she fought with such courage and bravery the last year and a half of her life. Sandra was predeceased by her parents Westly and Evelyn Nixon; her second husband Danny Dinko, numerous aunts and uncles, cousins and her grandparents. She leaves to celebrate her life: her son, Travis (Kim); daughter Roxanne (Brian), grandchildren, Rebecca, Breanna and Rodrik; son, Nicholas (Christine), grandchildren, Jersey and Hudson; her sister, Lila and brothers: Bruce (Kim), Don (Kim), Ben (Sherri), Wade (Lynnice) and Colin (Crystal); her many nieces and nephews who she loved 小蓝视频 with; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her best buddy Harlene. This is nor Good bye. It's until we meet again. Keep an eye on us all, we will miss you. Love you with all our hearts. A Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Church, Esterhazy, on July 21, 2014, with Father Valentine Amobi as Celebrant. Placing of the Pall: Vanessa Nixon and Stephanie Off. Pallbearers were Greg Off, Conrad Nixon, Donovan Nixon, Adam Nixon, Blaise Nixon, and Tyler Swain. Honourary Pallbearers were all those who shared in Sandra's Life. Interment followed at Kinbrae Cemetary. Donations may be made to St. Anthony's Hospital Building Fund, Esterhazy. Peter Carscadden Funeral Service Ltd. in care of arrangements.
