On December 19, 2014 our Mom, Marion Margaret King, nee Tripp, passed away at the age of 91. Please, don't be sad when you read this. Marion would tell you she had a beautiful life. She was born in Saskatchewan on July 4, 1923. At the age of 18 she met the man of her dreams, they married in April 1942. Theirs was a true love story that books and songs are written about. Her husband, Howard King, also from Saskatchewan, passed away in 2008; they were married for 66 years. She had six children who had the privilege of calling this amazing woman, "MOM". Their husbands and wives also came to share that great privilege. Her life, came to an end not knowing pain or sadness. She will be remembered for her smile, her gentleness and her kind heart. It takes special people to care for those with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Our family would like to thank the staff at the James Bay Care Centre for all the truly wonderful care and support they gave to our Mom. Also, we would like to thank Andrea and Jose, two special ladies, for the companionship, compassion and care you also provided our Mom.聽 From all her children, their husbands and wives, grandchildren and their spouses, and great-grandchildren, Mom (Grandma), you will be truly missed. We are all so grateful that you were a part of our lives. Marion is survived by her children: George (Charlotte) King, Howard (Gail) King, David Lorne (Colleen) King, Donald (Betty) King, Marian (Jim) Knock, and, Nancy (Ken) Truscott.
