In loving memory of Peter David Bucsis, who passed away on April 23, 2015 at the Regina General Hospital, Regina, SK, following a brief illness. He was 89 years of age. Peter was born on November 18, 1925, the son of Joseph and Julia (nee Benny) Bucsis in the Otthon District. He was united in marriage to Irene Holowka at St. Cunnegunda Church in Otthon, SK. They were blessed with two daughters, Connie and Linda. Peter and Irene farmed in the Otthon District for most of their lives. Following Irene's death in 2010, Peter moved into Yorkton to live in a Senior Care Home where he resided until his passing. Peter enjoyed farm life. He loved and cared for his land and all his animals, especially his pet cats and dogs. Peter had a wonderful sense of humor, he liked having company over and chatting about anything and everything. Peter will be remembered as an honest, generous man, who had a genuine interest in the well-小蓝视频 of those around him. Peter was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Julia Bucsis; his daughter, Linda Martens; his parents-in-law, Michael and Waltrina Holowka; three siblings and their spouses, Irene (Louis) Skeoch, Julia (George) Hilderbrandt, Andrew (Kathy) Bucsis and brother-in-law, Joe Nagy. He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, his daughter, Connie Bucsis; grandson, Christopher Martens; his sister-in-law, Beatrice Molnar; his sister, Wilma Nagy; his brothers, Vandel (Lorraine) and Jimmy (Mabel) as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends. Funeral Services were held on Friday, May 1, 2015 from St. Gerard's Roman Catholic Church in Yorkton, SK with Father Francis Hengen officiating. The readers were Shannon Sullivan and Eileen Longney, the Cross Bearer was Bill Sullivan and the Gift Bearers were Bea Molnar and Vivian Hodgson. The organist, Judy Berg, led the congregation and members of the church choir in the singing of the hymns, "Be Not Afraid", "Psalm 145", "Precious Lord, Take My Hand", "Prayer of St. Francis", "Song of the Angels" and "Here I Am Lord". The Cremation Committal followed in the Yorkton City Cemetery with Barry Bucsis serving as the urn bearer.
