Every faceoff in this important game was intense.

KINDERSLEY - In an action-packed affair in front of hundreds of fans at the West Central Events Centre in Kindersley, the Outlook Ice Hawks were looking to capture the Provincial Senior 'B' Championship with a second win, while the hosting Klippers were looking to stay alive and advance this game series to the third and final showdown.

As it turned out, Kindersley eventually got their wish.

In the first period on Saturday night, March 26, the Ice Hawks stunned the crowd by getting on the board first less than two minutes into gameplay, with a goal sunk by #2 Jordan Johnston.  Knowing that they had to up their strategy, the Klippers soon showed what they could do, as several Outlook shots were expertly caught at net.  Kindersley evened things up on the scoreboard with just 5 seconds left, with a goal scored by #18 Kylar Hope.

In the second, Kindersley forged ahead on the board with Hope grabbing his second goal at 10:03.  He would score again three and a half minutes later to put the Klippers further ahead, on a goal that Outlook's goalie thought he had originally caught, but managed to slink into the net.  The Klippers once again scored with just 21 seconds left with a goal by #27 Shayne Neigum.

In the third period, Outlook started making a comeback after Kindersley's #18 Hope sunk another puck past the goal at 12:17.  Mounting something of a resurgence, the Ice Hawks came back with just a handful of minutes left in the action, with a goal scored by #93 Beau Stewart.  Within the game's final two minutes, Outlook sunk one more into the net with a shot by #4 Logan Stephenson, with the team showing that while Kindersley would be the winners at home on this night, they would certainly have a battle in front of them tonight back in Outlook.

The final score of Game 2 was a 5-3 win for the hosting Klippers.

Game time tonight at the Jim Kook Rec Plex is 8:00.
