A new display on the history of irrigation in the riverside community and district was recently finished in the east wing of the museum, opening just in time for the Prairie Festival weekend of May 24-26.

The walk-around display grabs the eyes of visitors as a number of displays and objects show viewers the generations of history that have shaped and moulded the irrigation sector in this west central part of the province.

Spearheaded by museum manager Kate King and with assistance from others, including some vibrant mural artwork on the walls and ceiling created by Moxie Gonder, Aston Moon, Teya Payne, and Hannah Halonen, the newest offering at the Outlook & District Heritage Museum is one for the history books, with a sizable amount of material to take in for visitors this summer.
