I would like to take this time to say congratulations to everyone involved in Football Night in Saskatchewan. Once again the incredible support shown by Yorkton was amazing.
As I look back, I feel honoured to have been a part of the journey that we started six years ago to get minor football underway in the city and surrounding area. Since the inception of Football Night in Saskatchewan a football program has been developed to allow all local youngsters the opportunity to be exposed to the great game of football. Everyone involved should be proud and what has been accomplished should be admired by other communities across the great Province of Saskatchewan.
I would also like to say a heartfelt thank you for the overwhelming support and gratitude I received at the banquet. Yorkton will always hold a special place in my heart. And even though I am now embarking on a new journey in my career, I will stay dedicated to helping what we started with amateur football in the area regardless of where I may end up.
Thank you again to everyone for the remarkable support and keep up the good work. Due to the dedication of you all, the youth of Yorkton and area are receiving new opportunities to grow not only as athletes, but as people.
