The Canadian Wrestling's Elite made its second stop in Yorkton at the Agri-pavillion last week and according to the group's manager Danny Warren, plans are already in place for a third gig.

"It went great. Yorkton has proven to be one of our best stops (on the tour)."

Warren was referring to the CWE's Cruel Summer Tour, which has carried them all over Saskatchewan and into northern Manitoba.

The headline show in Yorkton last week featured former World Wrestling Federation star, Luke of the Bushwackers as well as former World Wrestling Entertainment's, the Hurricane.

Warren said he likes the idea of visiting smaller communities across Canada because it allows for more interaction between the wrestling and the spectators.

"We've started out really small, but Yorkton's been a great turnout."

Warren said that the group is eventually going to try to add extra theatrics to their shows, which may include pyrotechnics. What they can and cannot do is limited by the venues they are able to perform at he says.

"It depends on the town's facility. We do have a lot of lighting."

He added that the good turnout at the Agri-pavillion last week was "kind of what we expected" and they are looking at making a third stop in Yorkton early next year. What has set Yorkton apart from other stops the Cruel Summer Tour has made is the crowds that come out to take in the excitement.

"The best part of the show was the crowd-the crowd makes the show."
