聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 Two senior students at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute qualified to advance to the provincial cross-country competition in Saskatoon on Saturday (October 17).
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maija Rousseau, in junior girls, and Zach McGriskin, junior boys, qualified to advance after having competed in the district competition which was hosted by the Yorkton Regional High School at the Cherrydale Golf Course in Yorkton on October 8.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 At districts, Rousseau won a bronze medal, and McGriskin placed fourth.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Runners in grades 9 to 12 who placed in the top 10 at the Districts qualified for Provincials, said Darren Kitsch, the KCI鈥檚 cross-country coach.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Also winning medals at Yorkton were: Sadie McGriskin, a silver in bantam girls, and Kira Kitsch, bronze in bantam girls.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Placing well and winning ribbons at Yorkton were Cadence Campeau, eighth, and Holden LaBelle, 10th.
