The schedule for the Yorkton Regional High School Raider Gridder senior football team was released recently.
The Gridders open up their 2011 season with a game at home against the Miller Marauders on Friday, Sept. 2 at 5 p.m.
The game will be at the YRHS Century Field.
They play Friday, Sept. 9 against Martin in what will be their first of three night-time starts this season.
On Sept. 16, YRHS plays its first road game when they head to Wilcox to tackle the Notre Dame Hounds. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
Yorkton returns home to host the Johnson Wildcats a week later, the first day of fall, on Sept. 23.
Game time is slated for 4 p.m., at the Century Field in behind the Regional.
On Oct. 1, Yorkton plays host to Weyburn, scheduled start time is 2 p.m.
The Gridders round out the season with a pair of away games. Luther High on Oct. 7 at 5:15 p.m., before wrapping up the season Oct. 13 when they meet the O'Neill Titans.
Quarter final action for SHSAA football is on Oct. 19. Semi finals are scheduled for Oct. 25 and the 3A final is slated for Hallowe'en night, Oct. 31.
Provincial championships are two weeks later, on Nov. 12.
