The Parkland Racing Association will be holding their monthly race date on Sept. 17 at the Yellowhead International Speedway. The event is sponsored by C.J. Fall registration for Yorkton Minor Hockey runs until tonight (Aug. 31), from 11-3 p.m. Registration takes place inside the hockey office at the Kinsmen Arena. For additional information, contact Gina at 783-5070.

The Yorkton Sports Bank will be opening its doors to the public on Sept. 6 in the basement of City Hall. They will be holding an equipment drive tonight at the City Wide registration. It will be in the Flexihall from 6-9p.m. Amber Zaharia, urban youth sport co-ordinator, will have a booth set up for anyone wishing to drop off used sporting goods, including boys and girls hockey and figure skates, or any other hockey gear in usable condition.
