The Parkland Racing Association will be holding their final race weekend of the season next month at the Yellowhead Speedway. On Sept. 17, racing will start at 2 p.m., sponsored by C.J. Audio and Truck Accessories and Crystal Clear Imprints.
The following day Sept. 18, the PRA will be holding a demolition Derby at 2 p.m., sponsored by Access Communications.
The Yorkton Pee Wee Gridders football team has started their season with a road game over the weekend in Regina (see related story in this week's Yorkton This Week.
The team plays at home this Saturday at 1:30 p.m., says head coach Jason Farrell.
The Saskatoon Stallions played in the national championships of baseball over the weekend in Ontario.
They invited two members of the Junior Cardinals to play with them. Ross Stilborn and Logan Calanchie both received the invite. The team ended up playing four games, winning once against New Brunswick, Calanchie said via text message.
