Coming to Benito from Collorado, Scott Beehler was rather amazed that nobody played disc golf on the Saskatchewan prairies. Some years had gone by and he tried to encourage the sport in his home town, when he found that a number of disc courses had popped up in and around Yorkton. He now attends every tournament to try to promote the sport and see the equipment used in the sport through his business Shaker City Disc Golf Supply.
