The Preeceville Pats peewee, atom and bantam hockey divisions have each kicked off a new hockey season.
The atoms have not recorded a good start to the season with two losses to date. The team traveled to Churchbridge on November 9 and faced an 18 to 1 loss. Gavin Erickson scored the only goal.Ìý The next game was played on November 10 at Langenburg with a 14 to 3 loss. Scoring for Preeceville were: North Johnson, Gavin Erickson and Ethan Balawyder. Assists came from Ethan Balawyder and Gavin Erickson.
The peewee hockey team played its first game on November 10 in Melville with a 9 to 7 victory. Scoring for Preeceville were: Trae Peterson (four goals), Cole Secundiak (two goals), Camryn Nelson, Jayden Kazakoff and Jack Korpusik. Assists were by Jayden Kazakoff and Cole Secundiak.
On November 16, Preeceville traveled to Kamsack where they were defeated with a 6 to 4 loss. Scoring for Preeceville were Cole Secundiak (two goals), Franklin Avery and Camryn Nelson, with assists by Cole Secundiak.
Preeceville traveled to Canora for its second game on November 17 with a 10 to 0 loss.
Preeceville’s home opener on November 20 against Yorkton resulted in a 5 to 2 win. Scoring for Preeceville were: Trae Peterson (four goals) and Franklin Avery. Assists were by: Jace Vogel, Jack Korpusik and Jayden Kazakoff.
The Pats bantam team played its first game on November 4 in Yorkton and won with a 3 to 2 final score. Scoring for Preeceville were: Logan Wolkowski, Spencer Leech and Nathan Anaka. Assists were by Porter Wolkowski and Xage Miraflor.
The second bantam game was played in Yorkton on November 8 with 3 to 2 win. Scoring for Preeceville were, Spencer Leech (two goals) and Xage Miraflor. Assists were by Spencer Leech and Xage Miraflor.
The third bantam game was the home opener in Preeceville against Churchbridge on November 9 with a 5 to 5 tie. Scoring for Preeceville were: ÌýPorter Wolkowski (two goals), Xage Miraflor (two goals) and Logan Wolkowski. Assists were by: Keegan Dyck, Zachary Sorgen and Nathan Anaka.
November 16 had Preeceville hosting Yorkton with the two teams playing to a 2 to 2 tie.
Logan Wolkowski scored both Preeceville goals. Assists were by: Hudsyn Nelson, Nathan Newbery and Zachary Sorgen.
