"In game one our guys came out flying, and I think they really put a surprise to Moosomin who had swept their way through the playoffs so far, and only had one regular season loss. Our players really stuck to the game plan, so it was a real boost of confidence to start the series off," said Kirby Pankratz, coach.
鈥淭he second game was a lot more of the same except the game was filled with a lot more penalties to both teams. We lost our composure on quite a few occasions, and yet we still out shot them badly. As much that went wrong there were many positives too, and we鈥檒l reflect on that in our practices up to听鈥檚 game three in Moosomin. It was just an unfortunate mistake that kept us from getting into overtime in a game that was looking so promising,鈥 concluded Pankratz.
