Phyllis Paul of Preeceville shot a 92 to win the championship flite of the Canora women鈥檚 golf tournament on Saturday.
There were 26 golfers participating. The tournament has originally been scheduled for the previous Saturday, but due to poor weather, the tournament was rescheduled.
In cases of a tie, a countback was used to determine the winners. Lisa Mcfayden placed second in the championship flite with a score of 95. Debbie O鈥橠ell placed third, also shooting a 95. The hard luck prize for the championship flite went to Willie Armstrong who shot a 99.
Heather Skoretz won the first flite with a score of 102.
Janice Gervaise placed second with a score of 102 and Holly Masters placed third with a score of 104. The hard luck award went to Maxine Stinka who shot 114.
Donna Reitenbach won the second flite with a score of 116. Joyce McLean placed second with a score of 117 and Deb Marcischuk placed third with a score of 118. The hard luck award (most honest golfer) went to Kailey Wozney with a score of 144.
For the novelty awards, Mickey Johnson won for 鈥渃losest to the line鈥 on Hole No. 1; Phyllis Paul for closest to the pin on Hole No. 5; Debbie O鈥橠ell for longest drive on Hole No. 6; and Mickey Johnson won for longest putt on Hole No. 8.
