Outlook Hosts West Central Track Meet

Qualifying athletes headed to Provincials this weekend

It was a hotbed of activity at Outlook High School when the ‘Home of the Blues’ played host to the West Central District Track Meet over May 26 & 27.

Hundreds of young athletes from around the regional area converged onto the field at OHS to compete in a number of events, including the neighboring LCBI as well as students from Loreburn, Kenaston, Dinsmore, Beechy, Biggar, Elrose, Eston, Kyle, Lucky Lake, Plenty, Rosetown, St. Gabriel, Marengo, Kindersley, Elizabeth, Eatonia, and Davidson.

Select winners in grades 9-12 would go on to advance to the provincial event taking place in Saskatoon this coming weekend at Griffiths Stadium.
