The sun came out and shone brightly on Millstone Raceway in Yorkton July 24 during round seven of the CMRC Saskatchewan Championships Motocross Series.

The track was superbly prepped by the volunteers of the Yorkton Motorcycle Club and the 245 entries that showed up to ride were treated to great conditions, save for the slimy pits in the morning.

With class wins and podiums by the majority of Yorkton club members, the close to 600 spectators had much to cheer for. Schrader's Yorkton congratulates all participants.

Kirk Biro, Moose Jaw, 1st and 1st, for 1st overall in 50cc 4-6 class; Kamary Lutz, Yorkton, 3rd and 5th for 5th overall in 50cc 7-8 class; Jarret Biro, Moose Jaw, 1st and 1st for 1st overall in 65cc Pee Wee class; Kennedy Lutz, Yorkton, 1st and 1st for 1st overall in 85cc 7-11 class.

The Yorkton Motorcycle Club was established as a non-profit organization in 1986 to further motorcycling and the sport of motocross in Yorkton and area.

The club currently operates Millstone Raceway as an off-road and motocross riding area. The site is open for use by all club members.
