On July 26, while playing a Sunday morning round of golf, Peter Steranko recorded a hole-in-one at the Canora golf course.
Using a pitching wedge, he made the 146-yard shot while golfing with Gerald Dennis, Ken Bazansky of Stenen and Brendon Skibinsky, said Stan Gulutzan, the golf club house manager.
It was the first hole-in-one that Steranko ever made and it was the first at the Canora golf course since July of 2013 when Bill Schroeder of Indian Head re-corded a hole-in-one while visiting Canora, Gulutzan said.
Steranko is the course superintendent.
