YORKTON - It was time to see which ‘ponies’ measured up for the upcoming 2024 race season.
Each year young horses which will be running in Eastern Professional Chariot & Chuckwagon Association races must be officially measured to ensure none exceed the size limit.
Measuring day was held in Yorkton April 21, with 79 horses measured. Only four measured out (too big).
The EPCCA season begins in St. Louis, Sask. with races May 25 and 26.
