The East Central Districts of high school badminton took place last Tuesday afternoon at the Yorkton Regional High School May 3.
Morgan Shymanski and Rita Fetsch of Sacred Heart placed first and third in the girls' singles category.
The boys' doubles duo of Graham Campbell and Eddie Schramm of the YRHS placed second to Esterhazy. Kristen Jonassen and Rianna Skikewich placed in second, also of Sacred Heart. Other teams rounding out the top finishers included Sturgis Comprehensive School, Keeseekoose, Canora, Invermay and Norquay.
The grand aggregate plaque points were as follows: Esterhazy placed first with 70 points, Scared Heart finished second with 44 points and Invermay placed third with 36 points.
